Meditation

Style of class:  Seated, restorative, no movement required once settled,

Practiced: Non-heated

With life being so busy, so full of responsibilities, so full of adventures and demands on your energy, finding time out of your day (or let’s be honest even your week to just sit and breath) can be impossible to achieve and can leave you feeling like there’s one more thing on the list you didn’t tick off.

We want to change the narrative around meditation and how you “should” be doing it daily.  Our monthly meditation classes offer the time and space for you to give yourself permission just to slow down for a moment.

We do not want you to feel like meditation is about you becoming a different person or a better human being – we just want to offer some stillness and breathing practices that cultivate a mindfulness about being in the present moment and appreciating the epic person you are right now.  It’s kind of like yoga in a way – by bringing you to the present moment but without the muscular engagement and sweatiness.
